This Gingerbread White Russian cocktail is creamy with notes of Kahlua and warm spices like ginger, cinnamon, molasses and vanilla- and tastes just like a gingerbread cookie!

    Happy Saturday before Christmas!!!

To start off all the holiday festivities, this Gingerbread White Russian is the perfect cocktail to stir up and enjoy. There’s nothing quite like gingerbread, and this is definitely a fun way to enjoy the nostalgic Christmas flavor!

Honestly, I don’t drink much alcohol; but mixing up these fun cocktails is just so easy and fun! After making that delicious Boozy Salted Caramel Whipped Coffee, I have realized how much I love Kahlua. Maybe because I am a huge coffee addict, but the coffee liqueur just adds so much flavor.

This year I am all about gingerbread, and these Gingerbread White Russians were the perfect fix.

You start by making a simple gingerbread syrup, (which would also be delicious in coffee!) that uses all the traditional gingerbread spices. The main component in gingerbread is molasses; so the molasses is a must for creating this delicious gingerbread syrup!

    Here’s a quick rundown:

Gingerbread White Russians couldn’t be easier! You will start by making the gingerbread syrup. In a medium saucepan, combine the water, vanilla, brown sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon and clove. Bring to a boil over high heat for 3-5 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Rim 8oz cocktail glasses with cinnamon sugar. Fill the cocktail glasses half way with ice, stir in the vodka, Kahlua and 3 tablespoons of the gingerbread syrup; stir well. Then pour in the half and half and gently mix. ENJOY!

These are so fun and delicious! I would love to hear how these turn out for you!
