This boozy whipped coffee has all the best things: coffee, Kahlua liqueur, salted caramel syrup and a dreamy whipped coffee fluff to top it off. This drink is incredibly tasty and so fun to whip up!

Guys. This is one of the best coffee drinks ever. If you’re a fan of coffee and kahlua you are going to love this version! I just cant get enough of it. IT. IS. SO. GOOD. Please, go make this as soon as you can. Please.

Have you ever tried whipped coffee? Or dalgona coffee? I had been seeing this whipped coffee all over the internet and finally decided try it. It was apparently invented in Korea during the Spring quarantine, when people were bored enough to see what would happen if you whipped instant coffee and hot water together. The result was this new form of coffee drink, dalgona coffee; or as we call it, whipped coffee.

Honestly, I didn’t think it would be this easy or delicious.

But I am SO glad I tried it.

    Before you get started..

You have to use instant coffee to make the whip. Espresso powder just wont work and will taste bitter.

Once you combine the instant coffee, brown sugar and hot water, you will then whip the mixture on high in an electric stand mixer for 5 minutes. If you don’t have a stand mixer you can do this by hand, but it will take a bit longer.

You can also use whatever flavored coffee syrup you’d like! I had salted caramel on hand, but feel free to mess around with the flavors.

I think for this particular drink, half and half tastes the best when paired with the Kahlua liqueur. Its so rich and creamy and tastes like a decadent mudslide. Mmmmmm. But if half and half is not an option, feel free to use whatever milk you prefer!

Of course, you can make this whipped coffee without the Kahlua and vodka- just make the whipped topping as the recipe calls for and use whatever coffee flavored syrups you have on had and pour over your favorite milk!

I have tried this both ways and I must say, the Kahlua really pairs well with the whipped coffee and is definitely my favorite way to enjoy it.
