Why we love this Mango Berry Swirl Smoothie:

Berries. Mango. Swirled goodness. Yes, please!

Smoothies are one of my daily health routines. After discovering ‘swirled’ smoothies though, I am totally hooked! Not only are swirled smoothies delicious, they’re so dang pretty!

Smoothies are an excellent way to get your daily serving of fruits and veggies in, as well as vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and fiber! When I am busy chasing down two kiddos, a great smoothie helps keep me feeling energized. (And coffee… of course coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.)

It tastes like a sorbet. A delicious fruity sorbet, but way healthier. Win-win.

    ITS SO PRETTY!

The swirls!! You don’t HAVE to create two layers for a swirl, but its so fun! Go ahead and skip this step if you don’t want to ‘swirl’ your smoothie.

Colorful food= superfoods. All those rich colors mean this smoothie is full of vitamin C and antioxidants.

Turmeric Contains Bioactive Compounds With Powerful Medicinal Properties, as well as cancer fighting properties. Turmeric also helps brain function, heart health and is full of anti inflammatory compounds. Read this article here for more awesome turmeric facts!

Honey: Oh, honey. We eat honey in our house everyday! Another source of antioxidants, raw honey is also anti fungal, antibacterial and has powerful healing properties. Honey also works as a cough suppressant and research suggests that honey is as effective as dextromethorphan, a common ingredient found in over-the-counter cough medication! How cool is that?! We practically live off honey when we are sick, and it does indeed make a HUGE difference.

Chia Seeds: Full of fiber, protein and antioxidants, these little seeds are powerhouses filled with nutrient dense properties. The ancient Mayans and Aztecs used chia seeds to help with stamina, energy and overall health.
