Embracing the autumn season with this Bakery Style Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. This pumpkin bread is so tender, moist and perfectly spiced. Studded with melty chocolate chips, this bakery style pumpkin loaf is always a favorite fall treat. Best served warm with a smear of salted butter and a cup of coffee.
It’s finally starting to really feel like fall.
The trees are now in all their glory; full of crimson and burnt orange and my heart comes alive with the crisp, cool autumn winds. Evenings bring the smell of fire smoke in the air and even the stars seem brighter, fuller.
Coyotes are howling to the harvest moon and their wild melody stirs a sense of mystery and longing in me; a longing to learn their secrets and find where they get their songs.
I read once that autumn is more a season of the soul than of nature.
I want to run and jump and climb; get lost in the wonder and beauty of it all before it slips away all too soon.
To slow down and soak it all in.
To run off into the crimson woods and learn the inner workings of everything real and true. To feel Gods presence.
As someone who feels the rhythms of life very deeply, the seasons all come to inspire me in their own unique way. But fall will always hold my heart. And maybe that’s why I bake and cook and create and chase so much? More than just food, I want to feel immersed in the seasons and the beauty and flavors each chapter holds. I don’t want to miss out. Because in the end, the little things are really the big things.

Next, in a medium bowl you will whisk the sugars and wet ingredients until creamy and smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well to incorporate all the flour. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before attempting to slice.
